Private records are not publicly searchable. Access is role-based and privileged actions are audited. Introduction details are released deliberately, and sensitive files use private storage and short-lived viewing links where supported.
Confidentiality
Privacy is a shared operating discipline.
EMA limits access and disclosure by design. Confidentiality also depends on applicants, members, proposed matches, staff and providers acting responsibly.
Member responsibilities
Do not publish, forward, record or exploit another person’s profile, photograph, contact details, conversation or introduction without clear permission. Do not use information for solicitation, investigation, harassment or a purpose unrelated to the introduction.
Necessary disclosure
EMA may disclose information with permission, to operate the service, to professional advisers under appropriate duties, to address safety or fraud, or where lawfully required. A private-service promise cannot prevent a legally required disclosure.
Limits
EMA cannot guarantee another person’s conduct. Report suspected misuse promptly so access can be restricted, evidence preserved and appropriate action considered.
